Jessica Easter noticed a flyer for the Cayuga County Day of Caring. She reached out to the contact person at United Way and requested a volunteer project located in Fair Haven NY. We were given a service project for the town library. On August 6, 2003, we gathered at the library to straighten books and dust shelves. It’s a small task to help the library be more attractive to its patrons.

Family members who participated in the event included Jess Easter,  Arya Easter, Julie Hawkins,  Wes Hawkins,  Carolyn Auer Sturr,  Jaclyn Auer,  Joey Auer,  David Egen, and Molly Rogers. 

As a side note, we do utilize this small town library during the summer months.
